Rusty Hoss
Rusty is the Director of Equity Research at Miracle Mile and is charged with creating equity portfolios for the firm’s clients.
Prior to joining Miracle Mile, Rusty founded New Sheridan Advisors, an investment management firm focused on international investments, that was acquired by Champlain Investment Partners (CIP) in 2015. While at CIP, Rusty was a partner and portfolio manager of the firm’s Emerging Market strategies. Rusty began his career at Roth Capital Partners where he started as a research analyst covering U.S. consumer companies and eventually became a partner and Director of Research.
Rusty graduated from the United States Air Force Academy and served five years in the Air Force, primarily as a cost analyst on a multibillion defense communication satellite system. While in the Air Force, Rusty received his Masters of Business Administration from Loyola Marymount University’s College of Business Administration and later became a CFA charterholder. Outside of work, Rusty enjoys riding mountain bikes, spending time with family and friends, and attempting to keep up with his teenage girls.
