The ideal candidate execute trades, maintain investment models within our platforms, and assist in portfolio management. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and detail-oriented professional to grow their career in the financial industry. You will work closely with our investment team and will report to the Director of Portfolio Management. The ideal candidate is highly skilled in investment principles, possesses strong analytical abilities, and thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Execute trades efficiently across multiple custodians using a range of applications, ensuring best practices.
• Execute trades seamlessly across multiple security types and custodians using various trading software platforms to ensure precision and efficiency in the trading process.
• Maintain and refine our trading systems, internal processes, electronic files, and any other reporting as necessary.
• Provide in-depth research on investment holdings and portfolio positioning.
• Collaborate with the client service team to address any trading-related inquiries or needs.

Role Prerequisites

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in investment management, preferably within a wealth management or asset management firm.
• Professional certifications (working toward CFA, Series 65, etc.) are a plus.

Competencies

• Excellent communication skills.
• General knowledge of financial markets, investment vehicles, and portfolio management principles.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite of applications.
• Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Compliance-oriented mindset with a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements.
• Comfortable working independently.
