This newly created role will support initiatives firmwide that will include areas of estate and trust planning, tax planning, and gifting. Successful candidates for this position will have a demonstrated track record of educational and professional achievement, strong people skills, and a passion for legal analysis and strategy. The WES will have a proven ability to conduct research and deep-dive analysis on individual estate taxation, income taxation, taxation, and other financial planning strategies, to prepare and deliver comprehensive estate plans that help clients achieve their goals. The Wealth & Estate Strategist will foster strong relationships through regularly interfacing with clients, financial advisors, relationship managers, and other team members. The chosen candidate will be instrumental in establishing superior estate planning services for the firm’s financial advisors in support of their high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients. The position is based in Los Angeles; however, it is open to exceptional candidates in other locations who are willing to travel as needed. This role reports to the firm’s Head of Wealth Management.
Job Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for supporting Miracle Mile’s clients in their estate, trust, and tax planning.
- Partner with Head of WM to set MMA wealth planning strategy and curated client experience anchored in planning.
- Work closely with Financial Advisors to build relationships with high-net-worth clients and prospects across the country by providing guidance on estate and tax planning issues.
- Simplify complex legal topics, analyses, and structures into comprehensible terms for client understanding and education.
- Compare and contrast multiple estate planning alternatives/options for clients.
- Present estate planning options to clients in comprehensible language.
- Oversee investment analyst teams to provide clients with information and analysis focusing on estate, gift, and income tax planning.
Education/Experience
- A bachelor’s degree required from an accredited university with a strong educational foundation in finance and economics.
- JD required.
- Estate Planning/Trust/Fiduciary specialist experience is preferred.
- Financial planning/wealth management acumen, judgment, and experience. Experience working at wealth management firm (preferred).

We are currently looking for a full-time Client Service Associate/Administrative Associate to join the team in our Sausalito office. This Client Service Associate/Administrative Associate is an entry level position that is instrumental in supporting the advisory team, with upward mobility for multiple career paths and an excellent opportunity to develop within the financial services industry.
Job Responsibilities
- Provide operational and administrative support to Client Advisors/Relationship Managers in their daily business practices
- Act as primary point of contact for client issues and concerns
- Organize, track, and lead team projects; seeing them through to a successful completion
- Assist in preparing relevant marketing materials and proposals for prospective client meetings
- Generate and substantiate household and portfolio reports for meetings with existing clients
- Initiate trade orders and account rebalances by means of client request; ensure completion of such requests and appropriate communication with client
- Maintain key client information in CRM and reporting systems
- Manage individual client web portals and educate clients on the relevant capabilities and services
- Coordinate annual tax reporting and completion of relevant tax documentation with accountants
- Schedule client review meetings, to include many complex multi-party meetings, both in-person and virtual
- Coordinate travel arrangements, including flights, hotel accommodations and car rentals
- Assist in strategically managing weekly schedules and prioritizing meetings, trips, and tasks
- Track and enter Advisor expenses for accounting purposes
- Attend virtual meetings with clients and centers of influence when requested, to take notes and track follow-up items
- Monitor Primary Advisor’s schedule and workflow and communicate daily updates and delegations to the rest of the team
- Work with Primary Advisor’s personal assistant to make sure everyone is aware of travel plans and scheduling
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required, Business related degree preferred (or relevant work experience may be considered)
- Work or internship experience in the financial industry a plus
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience using Google Mail and Google Calendar
- High level of comfort working with high net worth individuals
- Demonstrated outstanding client service and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional listening, written and verbal communication skills

Job Responsibilities
- Serve as Primary Advisor to maintain and support a substantial population of inherited, existing client relationships spanning investment analysis, financial planning, tax concerns, charitable and estate planning, and ancillary services
- Serve as Secondary Advisor to support the same functions for another set of clients, supporting an established team in Los Angeles
- Identify and document each client’s unique goals and objectives
- Evaluate, implement, and manage investment solutions to meet client goals and objectives
- Prepare and deliver appropriate financial planning for each client
- Coordinate with other Miracle Mile resources and clients outside advisors, including CPA and attorneys, to facilitate a client’s holistic wealth plan.
