LABJ Journal Best Places to Work 2023, published August 11, 2023, data as of June 30, 2023: The Best Places to Work in Los Angeles is an annual celebration of elite employers who have proven that they know what it takes to create environments where people love to come to work. The Best Places to Work in Los Angeles program was open to all publicly or privately held companies with at least 15 employees working in LA County. The workplace assessment and survey process was managed by Best Companies Group (BCG), Harrisburg, PA. BCG, an independent workplace excellence research firm, managed the registration process, conducted the surveys, evaluated the data, and ultimately chose the firms good enough to make the list. The assessment involved a confidential 81-question Employee Engagement & Satisfaction Survey, which evaluates the employees’ workplace experience and company culture, and the BCG Employer Questionnaire, which collects information about each company’s benefits, policies, practices, and other general information. This award salutes companies that, according to the people who work for them, are the most successful in business and in nurturing their own. MMA did not pay to participate in or for the Los Angeles Business Journal Best Places to Work in Los Angeles.
Barron’s Top 1200 Financial Advisors 2024, published March 2, 2024: The criteria for ranking reflects assets under management as of 09/30/2023, revenue that the advisors generate for their Firms, regulatory record, quality of the advisor’s practices, and philanthropic work. Investment performance is not an explicit criterion because the advisors’ clients pursue a wide range of goals. In many instances, the primary goal is asset preservation. The scoring system assigns a top score of 100 and rates the rest by comparing them with the top-ranked advisor. No compensation is provided for using or obtaining the rating.
Barron’s Top 100 Independent Advisors 2024, published September 18, 2024, data as of June 30, 2024: The rankings are based on data provided by around 4,000 of the nation’s most productive advisors. Factors included in the rankings: assets under management, revenue produced for the firm, regulatory record, quality of practice, and philanthropic work. Investment performance isn’t an explicit component because not all advisors have audited results and because performance figures often are influenced more by clients’ risk tolerance than by an advisor’s investment-picking abilities. Advisors who wish to be ranked fill out a 102-question survey about their practice. We verify that data with the advisors’ firms and with regulatory databases and then we apply our rankings formula to the data to generate a ranking. The formula features three major categories of calculations: (1) Assets (2) Revenue (3) Quality of practice. In each of those categories, we do multiple sub-calculations. We also consider a wide range of qualitative factors, including the advisors’ experience, their advanced degrees, and industry designations, the size, shape, and diversity of their teams, their charitable and philanthropic work, and of course, their compliance records. MMA did not pay to participate in or for the Barron’s ranking. Barron’s ranking is for general information only and does not constitute or imply an endorsement or recommendation of any kind of Miracle Mile Advisors, LLC (“MMA”) services or products.
Barron’s Top 100 Independent Advisors 2023, published September 15, 2023, data as of June 30, 2023: Our ranking of top individual advisors uses a similar set of quantitative criteria. Qualitative factors include the advisors’ experience, advanced degrees and industry designations, the composition of their teams, and, of course, their compliance records. No compensation is provided for using or obtaining the rating.
Investment News Best Places to Work for Financial Advisors 2023, published March 6, 2023, data as of December 31, 2022: Participating organizations must complete a two-part process to be considered for inclusion on the list. The first part consists of evaluating each registered organization’s workplace policies, practices, and demographics and is worth approximately 25% of the total evaluation. The second part consists of an employee survey to measure the employee experience and is worth approximately 75% of the total evaluation. The combined scores determine the top companies and which organizations are included on the list. Best Companies Group (BCG) manages the overall registration and survey process and also analyzes the data and uses our expertise to determine the final rankings. MMA did not pay to participate in or for the Best Places to Work ranking.
