Miracle Mile Advisors (“MMA”) is searching for a qualified candidate to join our team as an M&A Analyst to support organic and inorganic growth pillars spanning: M&A, Advisor Recruiting, Advisory Team support, Contractual CPA Partnerships, and other referral programs. Successful candidates for this position will have demonstrated track record of educational and professional achievement, strong people skills and a passion for analysis/strategy. The ideal candidate would have a strong appetite for the M&A/investment banking space, with the drive to thrive in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Growth Team and leadership on M&A opportunities, playing a critical role in initial valuation and due diligence analysis. Specific tasks include:
- Ownership of M&A calendar including the monitoring and communication of key meeting and deliverable/submission dates
- Deal evaluation, including the analysis of banker-provided summaries and deal-specific financial statements
- Creation and detailed comprehension of models and projections tied to individual acquisition opportunities
- Creation of deal overview summaries and follow-up questions for management
- Market research
- Maintenance and customization of Miracle Mile introduction presentation
- Creation of customized letters of intent for potential partnerships
- For active deals, tracking and ownership of all active deal negotiation points
- Full ownership of tracking M&A opportunities within Salesforce
- Conceptualize and create dynamic financial and operational models to analyze a variety of MMA’ growth pillar opportunities (e.g. M&A, advisor-lift outs, custodial referral programs, Marketing initiatives, etc.)
- Identify new acquisition opportunities and create outreach strategies across all growth pillars
- Organic Growth: Assist with advisor business development strategy and KPI analysis to drive and understand organic opportunity across the firm
- Compile KPIs and analysis for quarterly Board Meetings and Leadership Team meetings
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or business management preferred; other degrees will be considered
- 1-4 years of experience in project management, business analysis/consulting, or banking preferred, with preference given to candidates who also have financial services industry experience
Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, & the broader Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with wealth management software and systems is a plus
Detail-oriented with high level of accuracy and time-management skills
Ability to intellectually understand and challenge deal constructs to consistently achieve the best possible results.
Stellar project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong presence and confidence to work directly with company executives
Nice to have: Experience with PowerBI or other data visualization tools
Exceptional oral and written communication skills
Passion for M&A, including a deep understanding of the time sensitivity often associated with individual opportunities
